Procrastination....

So, I am avoiding doing real work, and I gave up on making my own background (for now). Posting pictures seems like the best thing to do!
This one is kind of old, but it was Macy's first time riding in the cart at Albertson's. She had a ball. Her only problem is that she is constantly contorting to see where we are going. She's not a natural rear-facer.


Macy finally has enough hair for a clippy bow... sort of. :)


This is Macy in her swimming pool. She was happy and having fun for about 3 minutes, then she was just done. She wanted to get out, then she wanted to get back in when she saw what fun her friends were having... and then she wanted out, again. Maybe a when we get some more sun we'll try again.

Enough for now. I should really be working.

There is just too much to write about our past few weeks! I'll try to update a little at a time, but here is our little Macy in her Easter dress. She is standing in her crib, she loves to pull herself up on things now. Next step... taking real steps!

The best bad news ever!

I am so torn. I am crushed, I am ecstatic! Gerald was just invited to a conference in Boston and Macy and I are going with him! That means a whole week with my sister Rachel and her beautiful family! However, this turn of last minute luck comes with a heavy price tag. One of my best friends in the whole world is going to be 3 hours from my home at that very time. I have been looking forward to a fun couple of days with Rachel (my friend, not my sister-- see the irony) since she called last week.
I lead a very boring life, either one of these events could have been sufficient to make my season-- when it rains it pours. But you can only swim in one direction.

We are living in a rice cereal world and Macy is a rice cereal girl!

I learned my lesson, never put the bowl of cereal on the tray of the high chair. The good news is, Macy likes to self feed!
