Too Much Fun... And Sun!

This Saturday, kind of on a whim, Ger and I took a short road trip to the beach. It took about 1 1/2 hours to get to Lincoln City, OR and we enjoyed a nice walk on the beach, a long walk back to the car, a windy picnic, and an awesome candy store (get the saltwater taffy at Candyland). We even got a little sunburn. Oregon is great!

Cirque du Soleil was Awesome!

Thursday Ger and I went to Cirque du Soleil's traveling show "Corteo" in Portland. It was so entertaining! We were kinda lost with the story, but all the acts were spectacular. We saw the littlest people ever, and one of the biggest. This was one of the coolest live performances I have ever seen.

Ger in front of the tents, I took the picture so I have to admit that it isn't good of either Ger or the tents, but you can kinda see it...

See what I mean? That woman is like 3 feet tall, and the man might be 8 feet tall. This act was hilarious! She was being held up by 4 huge balloons, and he would push her all over the tent. It was pretty cool-- like the beach balls in the crowd at a football game.

Haunted Pizzaria?

For our date this Friday I took Gerald to Old Town Pizza in downtown Portland. I had read online about their history-- It is supposed to be haunted. We were not so impressed. The pizza itself was very good, the italian soda was really yucky, and I am pretty sure we sat on the couch where someone died. The atmosphere was kinda fun though, and it got us back downtown which I loved! Ger gets to go there every day, but it is still new and different for me.
